Directions
We are in the small hamlet of Le Petit Ville des Eaux near Dampierre sur Boutonne.
By Car: We are easy to find by car, Dampierre sur Boutonne is situated a short distance off the A10 motorway which runs from Paris to Bordeaux. Approximate distances from channel ports:
- St Malo – 4 hours
- Caen- 5 hours
- Cherboug - 6 hours
- Le Havre – 5 1/4 hours
- Boulogne - 7 hours
- Calais - 7 hours
- Dieppe – 5 1/2 hours
We are within easy reach of the main autoroute of A10, which links Paris to the south west coast.
Leave at Junction 33 to Niort and take the D650 to Saint Jean d'Angely. (Road number changes to D150 towards Villeneuve de Comtesse.) As you leave the village of Villeneuve de Comtesse, turn left onto the D121 to Dampierre sur Boutonne.
When you reach a T-Junction (this is Dampierre sur Boutonne) turn left, past the Chateau (which is on your left) and take the next left onto the D115 to Chizé. Follow the road and turn left onto the D127 to Chizé.
After 1 mile take the D219E to Le Vert and La Touche (recycling bins at junction). Continue on this road signposted Availles and Chizé, as the road bends sharply to the right (after approx. 1 mile) turn left into Petit Ville des Eaux and we are the last house directly in front of you.
